The unique addition of scientific discoveries of the period having a direct relation to the murders made this series really interesting and in this book, that really comes to the forefront. Charlotte, now the Countess of Wrexford, would like nothing more than a summer of peace and quiet with her new husband and their unconventional family and friends. Book 2: Murder at Half-Moon Gate, 5/5 This is my personal favorite (I’m a sequel junkie).
